Meet the Crafters
We, the crafters of Roman Rite Crafts, proclaim the Catholic Faith – and above all, its expression in the Traditional Latin Mass – to be the greatest treasure of our lives. We pray that our handiwork may bring you not only remarkable handmade leather items of the highest quality, but a means to proclaim the infinite worth of our sacred heritage.
Laudetur Iesus Christus!
Veronica Lam
Head Leather Crafter/Business Owner
Veronica first began leatherwork by following that creative urge to make handicrafts in the home. Patching projects soon gave way to quilting blankets and sewing tiny doll dresses for the nieces, but this just wasn't enough. Going on to learn leather crafting brought a whole different horizon of adventure – and one for which she soon learned she had a knack. She loves learning and continues to expand her crafting skills by partaking in workshops and designing new products.
She began Roman Rite Crafts in 2021 with a vision of a handcrafted society and has been working towards that vision ever since.
There is something deeply rewarding about working with such classic, rugged, natural materials, and Roman Rite Crafts is her way of sharing that joy with you!
Lilia Lyden
Apprentice Leather Crafter/Marketing Assistant
Lilia is a devout Catholic and a disciplined worker. Getting to know Veronica sparked her interest in learning the craft, and before she knew it, God opened the doors for her to realize that desire. She joined the team as an apprentice in 2024, eager to learn, perfect her skills, and become a master of the craft.
When she’s not crafting, she’s likely praying the Divine Office or riding and training horses on the farm. Horsemanship and leather have gone back together for centuries, and it is her hope one day to learn the art of saddlery.
Though they choose to remain unnamed, Roman Rite Crafts is in continual collaboration with several invaluable and remarkable individuals, whose assistance has greatly aided its mission for the greater glory of God!
